Impossible Futures?

When we are out of work or on a job search, can we ever see ourselves as equal to a working person?

 I am just me
Before I was just me
I was the world’s most successful CEO
Before I was the world’s most successful CEO
I was a successful executive
Before I was a successful executive
I was a great manager
Before I was a great manager
I was a hard-working team member
Before I was a hard-working team member
I was just a newb
Before I was just a newb
I was a jobseeker
Before I was a jobseeker
I was just me
I am just me

  1. It’s good to reflect that behind every role in life is a person, living, breathing sometimes fighting to get out. These people interview us, work with us, help us and hinder us. But they are just people like all of us.

But what makes a person find the right role? I’d suggest that the more we reflect on ourselves as a person and explore what we have to offer, what we want to give and who we want to be the more we are able to find the right role … eventually … sometimes.
