Hiring decisions say as much about the company making them as they say about you.
Another writer on another website might add the word ‘Discuss‘ to the end of that statement,
All I want to add is your experience…
Companies make decisions and they have their own reasons for doing so,
But then again, so do we.
The factors that lead up to a ‘Yes’ or a ‘No’ in a hiring decision go way beyond our influence,
Even when we’ve done the best we can.
As individuals all we can do is our very best when we’re looking for work,
While remembering that even our best can still lead to rejection,
Due to factors behind hiring choices that might always stay hidden from us.
